Learn how to create and publish LinkedIn polls using Agorapulse!

LinkedIn polls provide an interactive way to engage with your LinkedIn following. You are able to add a poll to your LinkedIn post using the Publishing Composer on Agorapulse's web application. This feature is not available on the mobile application. For more information on how to create and schedule a post, please take a look at this article.

Please Note: The ability to create polls for LinkedIn posts is available depending on the subscription plan you have. If you would like to change your plan to access this feature, feel free to reach out to us here.


How to add a poll to a LinkedIn post

After selecting a LinkedIn profile from the profile selector in the Publishing Composer:

  1. Add text or links to your post

  2. Under LinkedIn Options toggle Poll on

  3. Enter a Poll Question (maximum 140 characters)

  4. Enter at least two Answer Options (maximum 30 characters)

  5. Optional: Add more Answer Options by selecting Add Option (maximum 4)

  6. Select a Poll Duration from the drop down (1 day, 3 days, 1 week or 2 weeks)

Note: There has to be text added to your post in order to successfully publish a LinkedIn poll. You are not able to add media to a post that includes a poll.


Where can I view published LinkedIn polls in Agorapulse?

You can filter for and view poll-type posts within the Social Calendar. When clicking on the poll-type post in the Calendar, you are able to see the poll question, number of responses and poll duration.

Note: Answers to LinkedIn polls are not currently available within Agorapulse.
