Within the Inbox, it is possible to assign items to team members for review. This allows specific queries, complaints or compliments to be routed to the correct person in your team.
Assigning and reviewing multiple Inbox items can also be executed and automated through Inbox bulk actions and Automated Moderation rules. In this article we will outline:

How to assign an item in the Inbox
Singular items can be assigned to a team member from the Inbox by following the instructions below:
Select the chosen item from the list of Inbox items
Click on the human (Assign) icon
Select a team member from the drop-down list in the pop-up
(Optional) Leave a message for the assigned team member
This will appear on the item when the assignee is viewing itPress the Assign button
Once assigned, the Inbox item will appear in the Items to review view for the assignee and they will also receive an immediate notification. A message will appear at the top of the Inbox when the team member logs in, in order to notify them of assigned items. You can identify assigned items in the Inbox based on the yellow banner.
How to review an item in the Inbox
Inbox items can be marked as reviewed in order to signify that they do not required any further action from your team of moderators and social media managers. Inbox items will automatically be marked as reviewed when:
An Inbox item is hidden or deleted
An Inbox item is replied to
An Inbox item is marked as reviewed
To mark a singular Inbox item as reviewed, you may follow the steps below:
Select the chosen item from the list of Inbox items
Click on the checkmark (Review) icon
The item will be marked as reviewed and will be transferred to the All items view in the Inbox. You can also press the Review all icon at the top of the list to review all items visible in the list of Inbox items at once.
Note: An Inbox item does not have to be assigned to a user in order for them to review it.
