Updated settings explained

Learn about the new updates made to the settings page

We have made changes to the existing settings menu so that settings are now grouped under the relevant feature (Inbox, Publishing, Analytics, etc.) to help you more easily navigate your settings and provide a cleaner and more seamless experience.

Below, we will detail exactly what new features you will find within your updated settings:



Layout optimization

We have made the following changes in order to optimize the layout of the Settings menu:

  1. The Profile settings menu has been removed. Now, social profile specific features like Saved Replies and Report/Publishing time zones, which were previously managed under the Profile settings, are now listed in your settings under the Agorapulse feature (Inbox, Publishing, Analytics, etc.) that they are related to.

  2. Features that were previously managed under Organization Settings that are related to a specific Agorapulse feature (Shared calendar, Approval workflows, Automated rules, etc.) also now appear under the Agorapulse feature they are related to (Inbox, Publishing, Analytics, etc.).

  3. Settings that previously had their own sub-menu (ex. email & password management, and 2FA) have been added to the same sub-menu.

  4. Each feature group is collapsible or expandable.

Please Note: Collapsed feature groups will not be saved when closing and reopening the settings menu.


The following settings have been moved from either the Profiles or Organization settings and are now manageable directly under the relevant Agorapulse feature (Inbox, Publishing, Analytics, and Listening). Next to each setting, we have included in parentheses where these settings had been moved from (Profile settings or Organization settings)

Inbox

  • Saved Replies (Profile settings)

  • Reply suggestions (Profile settings)

  • Automated moderation (Profile settings)

Publishing

  • Publishing timezones (Profile settings)

  • Shared calendar (Organization settings)

  • PulseLink in Bio (Organization settings)

  • Approval workflows (Organization settings)

Analytics

  • Google Analytics (Organization settings)

  • Scheduled reports (Profile settings)

  • Report timezones (Profile settings)

  • Custom branding (Profile settings)

Listening

  • Listening alerts (Organization settings)

Advocacy

  • Advocacy space (Organization settings)



Search feature

  • You can now search for specific settings, allowing you to more easily find a navigate the settings menu.
