How to export posts as a CSV

Learn how to export posts from your Publishing Calendar

Agorapulse offers the ability to export posts from the Publishing Calendar as a CSV file. This is useful for sharing your content plan with stakeholders, reviewing scheduled content outside of Agorapulse, or keeping a record of published posts.


The export includes posts from the selected date range for one or multiple social profiles, and can be filtered by post type, status, and labels.

How to export posts as a CSV

Post exports are available from the Month view of the Publishing Calendar and can be exported by users with any profile-level role (Admin, Editor, Moderator, or Guest).

Please Note: The export includes Publishing information only. Analytics and Inbox data are not included in the export.

To export posts as a CSV:

  1. From the left-hand navigation bar, click on Calendar, and make sure that the Month view is selected

  2. Click the Export button at the top right of the Calendar, next to the Assigned to me button

  3. Under Accounts, select one or multiple social profiles.

  4. Under Period, set the desired date range.

  5. (Optional) Under Post types, you can filter by the type of posts you would like to export.
    Note: By default, all post types are selected

  6. (Optional) Under Statuses, you can filter by the specific status of the posts you would like to export.
    Note: By default, all statuses are selected

  7. (Optional) Under Labels, select one or multiple to only export posts with those labels applied.

  8. Click Export

After exporting, the file will be downloaded directly in your browser as a CSV.

Please Note: Any filters or profiles selected in the Publishing Calendar prior to opening the export window will automatically be applied.


What data is included in the export?

In the table below, we have outlined the data included in the CSV export for each post and a short description of each data point:

Selected profiles

The social profile(s) the post belongs to

Scheduled date

The date the post is scheduled to be published

Scheduled time

The time the post is scheduled to be published

Post type

The type of content in the post (Text, Link, Video, Image(s), Document, or Poll)

Post status

The status of the post in the Calendar (Scheduled, Queued, Pending, Published, To approve, Assigned to me, Draft, Rejected, or Failed)

Post content

The text content of the post, including emojis

Post link

The link included in the post

Video URL

The URL of the video attached to the post

Image URL

The URL of the image(s) attached to the post

Labels

All labels applied to the post within Agorapulse

Post URL

Direct link to the post on the social profile (available for published posts only)

Please Note: The exported CSV file cannot be used for bulk importing posts back into Agorapulse.
