What paid data is included in the reports?

In general, Agorapulse reports do not show an analysis of paid ad posts. However, some of the data we receive via the API from social networks include data related to paid activity. You can find this listed below for each network:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • LinkedIn

  • Twitter

Facebook

Note: Filters feature is available depending on the subscription plan you have. If you would like to change your plan to access this feature, feel free to reach out to us here.

Audience report

1. Audience growth chart (New Fans)

Facebook shares paid as well as organic followers, via the Insights API. You can see this data in the Audience Growth chart in the reports section.

The paid engagement rate section at the audience level, includes all types of paid activities (ads and boosted posts).

4. Impressions chart (Audience tab)

We receive a breakdown of organic, paid and viral impressions from Facebook and display them separately in the report.

Note: The paid data included in the content report only includes Boosted posts as Dark ads are not included in our content report.

1. Content Performance chart (Paid Reach)

Here we show a breakdown of the organic and paid reach of a post as well as the total reach in the Content Performance report.

We receive the data for Paid Reach from Facebook's API. It's not necessary to have an ad account connected for this data to be synced in Agorapulse.

Paid Reach does not include ads unless they're boosted posts from within the report's selected date period.

Here we show the number of people who clicked anywhere in your post including any type of clicks when the posts have been boosted (likes, shares, comments etc)

5. Community Management

When an ad token is linked to Agorapulse, we automatically synchronize the comments on your ad posts. This means that any community management actions taken on these ad posts will be included in the community management report.


Instagram

1. Impressions chart

If an ad account is connected to an Instagram account, we will show the split between Organic and Paid impressions.

If no ad account is connected, paid impressions will still be synced but not split. The total will consist of both Organic and Paid impressions.

Note: If an ad account is later connected, we can only sync back 10 days of previous data.

2. Community Management

When an ad token is linked to Agorapulse, we automatically synchronize the comments on your ad posts. This means that any community management actions taken on these ad posts will be included in the community management report.


LinkedIn

1. Audience growth chart

New paid followers are shown separately from new organic followers in the LinkedIn Audience report.

2. Engagement chart (likes)

In the engagement section likes on promoted posts will be included.


Twitter

Content Performance chart

Although we don't support Twitter ads, promoted tweets are included in the Content Performance report.
