Facebook Content metrics - Posts performance
Updated over 11 months ago

In this section, you'll see an overall summary of your posts' performance. We display data on:

  • Organic reach: the number of people (unique users), who had this post enter their screen through unpaid distribution

  • Paid reach: the number of people (unique users), who had this post enter their screen through paid distribution such as an ad

  • Total reach: the number of people (unique users), who had this post enter their screen

  • Clicks: link clicks (for link posts) / photo views (for photo posts) / video plays (for video posts)

  • Other clicks: clicks anywhere on the post in the News Feed

  • Engaged users: the number of unique people, who engaged in certain ways with your Page's post. For example: by commenting on, liking, sharing, or clicking on particular elements of the post.

  • Engagement rate per impression: total engagement divided by total impressions

  • Engagement rate per reach: total engagement divided by total reach

  • Video views: the number of times your Page's videos played for at least 3 seconds, or for nearly their total length if they're shorter than 3 seconds. During a single instance of a video playing, we'll exclude any time spent replaying the video.

  • Avg. time watched: the average number of milliseconds your Reel was played during a single instance of playing it, including time spent replaying your Reel. Because this metric includes replays, the value can be greater than the total length of the reel.

  • Avg. percentage of time watched: to calculate the percentage of the video watched, we use the formula: (Average time watched / Video duration) * 100.

We display organic and boosted posts in the list. Paid reach is acquired from boosted posts only.

You can sort posts according to the chosen metric - just click on the column title to sort posts according to the desired metric. By default, posts are sorted chronologically.

For each metric for which we calculate the average, it is calculated as an arithmetic average of the values for each listed post.
