Twitter Content metrics - Recommendations
Updated over 10 months ago

We've developed a powerful algorithm which combines the dates and times of each tweet you publish with their average reach and engagement performance. Heatmaps tell you when it is best for you to publish or what tweet type or subject tends to perform well.

This is a great way to identify patterns that may not be efficient. For example, you may find you've only published content mid-afternoon (in your time zone) and this is the time period you receive the lowest reach or engagement. Or, you've published too few tweets on weekends since weekend posts got the highest engagement.

You'll get these heatmaps for:

  • day and time

  • tweet type

  • label

To benefit from these graphs and take meaningful action, you'll need to publish regularly on your profile to test. If you only publish sporadically, you won't have enough statistically valid data to make insightful decisions.

Also, you need to spread your content throughout the week and the times of the day, if you always publish at the same time on the same day, we won't have data to show you for the remaining time.

Note: Please note that this section is only available if you have published at least 1 tweet during the given period.
