You can get access to Agorapulse's Social Media ROI insights even if you don't currently use a Gmail address or a Google Account.

Why do I need to get access to Google Analytics in the first place? What is Social Media ROI?

Social Media ROI is a feature that allows you to measure how specific posts, conversations, social profiles (and more) are helping you reach business goals like generating traffics, leads or revenues. To get those unique insights, we combine Google Analytics insights with Agorapulse data. You need to get access to the website traffic data stored inside Google Analytics to complete the first part of the equation. To get this access, a Google Analytics Administrator for the website(s) data you wish to access needs to grant those permissions to a Google Account. You can then use this Google Account to connect Google Analytics accounts inside Agorapulse.

How to connect a Google Analytics Account to Agorapulse when you don't have a Google/Gmail account

If one of the Google Analytics Administrators tries to give you access to Google Analytics with a non-google email address, they will most-likely see the below error message:

In order for the GA Admin to give you access rights to their Google Analytics account (which you can then use to connect a Google Analytics account to Agorapulse) you will need to create a Google Account and link your current Outlook (or other provider) email address to that newly created Google Account.

You can create a Google Account by following this link and procedure. When entering your information, make sure to click on "Use my current email address instead" to use your current email address. If you don't, Google will automatically associate a gmail address to your Google Account and you won't be able to use your current email address.

You can then proceed with the account creation. Once the Google Account creation is over, you can contact the Google Analytics Administrator: they will be able to give you access using your current email address!

Note: Any access level will allow you to connect a Google Analytics Account to Agorapulse. Whether you get Viewer, Analyst, Editor or Administrator roles, you will be able to add a Google Analytics Account inside Agorapulse and start measuring the business impact of your social media presence.
