When it comes to Facebook pages and Agorapulse, if they are being managed within Meta Business Manager, you are required to have Full control over the Business account and page to add this to Agorapulse. This will also allow you to confirm the connection between Instagram and a Facebook page if needed.
This article will guide you through the steps on how to check your role.
Full Control over the Business account
Head over to the Meta Business Manager settings.
If you are a member of multiple Business Manager accounts, you will be redirected to a page that allows you to select the one you want to view. Click on the account that owns the Facebook page.
Note: If you do not see the account you are looking for, this means that you do not have the permissions required. You will need to ask someone with Full control over the Business account to update your permissions or connect the page themselves.
Click on People in the menu on the left and make sure you can see Full control next to your name.
Full Control over the Facebook page
Head over to the Meta Business Manager settings.
If you are a member of multiple Business Manager accounts, you will be redirected to a page that allows you to select the one you want to view. Click on the account that owns the Facebook page.
Note: If you do not see the account you are looking for, this means that you do not have the permissions required. You will need to ask someone with Full control over the Business account to update your permissions or connect the page themselves.
Click on Pages in the menu on the left, and from here click on the Page you want to add to Agorapulse.
Note: If you do not see the page you are looking for, this means you have not been assigned this is an "Asset". You can learn more about this here.
Click on your name and make sure Full control - Everything is toggled on.
When you have confirmed your roles or had them changed, sometimes, you will need to refresh permissions between Facebook and Agorapulse, this can be done by using the reconnect button as shown below:
That's it! Once you have confirmed that you have Full control on the page and Business account, you will now be able to add the Facebook page to Agorapulse.
