This article is to inform you about a significant update regarding Facebook Groups being no longer supported. Starting April 2024, Facebook Groups will be deprecated.
We want to inform you about some upcoming changes to the Facebook Groups API by Meta. In April 2024, Meta will be deprecating the following groups' API permissions and features:
Additionally, Meta will deprecate the ability for group admins to install apps on the group, even if they have an admin or developer role on the app.
As a result, Agorapulse and other third-party tools will no longer support publishing to Facebook groups once these changes take effect.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this which is outside of our control.
How to remove Facebook Groups from Agorapulse
Head over to your Organization Settings > Social profiles and filter to Facebook, then press the trash icon next to the Group you want to remove.
Note: Only the Owner or users with the Manager role can remove a social profile from Agorapulse.
