Replying to reviews

Click on the review that you would like to reply to and then type the reply into the provided field. Don't forget to hit Send when you're done composing your reply!


Reviews management

If you have previously replied to a review (directly in Google Business Profiles Dashboard or in the Google Maps app), we'll also sync this reply - you can edit or delete it in Agorapulse if needed.

By default, reviews appear chronologically in the Inbox - the most recent are at the top. You can choose reverse ordering, by oldest first.

Among other filtering options, you'll be able to filter out the reviews based on the rating - starting from the worst 1-star reviews to the best 5-star reviews.

We sync and display the star rating of the review (which is mandatory when leaving a review) and the text of the review (which is optional). We are not able to sync and display the photos attached to a review (these are optional, too, however).


Limitations in the Google Business inbox

Some features that are available directly on Google My Business are not available in Agorapulse. This is due to the limits of the API, set by Google itself.

As a result of these limitations, the following actions can not be done:

  • Reviews removed natively - Reviews that have been deleted natively will still appear in the Agorapulse Inbox. You will receive an error when attempting to reply to these reviews.

  • Reply to chat messages - At the moment, the chat feature (Google Business Messages) is not supported.

  • Flag as inappropriate

  • Sync reviews that have been left with a picture

  • View User Profile details

  • View on Google button

  • Like/dislike a review
