How to create a photo-type post on TikTok

When in the Publishing Composer, choose the relevant TikTok account from the profile selector. After uploading your image in the Media section, you will see a new set of options appear:

TikTok Photo Upload Requirements

To successfully upload a photo-type post to TikTok, the image(s) must meet the following requirements:

  • JPG, JPEG or WebP format

  • A maximum image resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels or 1920 x 1080 pixels

  • A maximum of 35 photos per post

  • < 20MB file size per image

If any of the above requirements are not met, you will not be able to publish the post and an error message will be generated under the Social Media Preview section:

Please Note: The TikTok API doesn't allow upload of mixed media types (images and videos) in a slideshow.
