Agorapulse allows users to delete or hide Inbox items that should not be publicly visible on social profiles. Once an item is deleted, the action is irreversible and permanent. Hiding a comment in the Inbox will remove it from public view, but the action can be reversed.

In this article we will outline:

How to delete an item in the Inbox

When in the Inbox, you can delete an item by following these steps:

  1. Select the chosen Inbox item from the list of items

  2. Click the Delete (Trash) icon next to the item

  3. Click Yes I'm sure in the confirmation pop-up

Once an item is deleted, the action is permanent and irreversible. Below we will outline what happens after an item is deleted from Agorapulse per social network:

  • TikTok - Comments

If you have sufficient permissions in the relevant social network, you can follow the steps below to delete an Inbox item natively:

How to hide a comment in the Inbox

Comments can be hidden on the following social networks:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

Please Note: It is not possible to hide LinkedIn comments or **X posts that your profile has been mentioned in.

When in the Inbox, you can hide a comment by following these steps:

  1. Select the chosen Inbox item from the list of items

  2. Click the Hide (Eye) icon next to the comment

Once a comment is hidden, it will not be visible on the social profile. Authors of the comment may still see the comment natively. You can un-hide a comment by following the same steps mentioned above, except the Unhide icon will be selected.

Note: If a YouTube channel has been configured to moderate comments, all comments will be hidden until reviewed. You can find out more about this here.
