How to export Inbox items from Agorapulse

For users on an Advanced or Custom plan, Agorapulse offers the ability to extract items from the Inbox—including organic/ad comments, direct/private messages, mentions, and reviews. The export feature allows you to export data for one or more Inbox items on a social profile, or all comments from a specific post. All exports are sent via email in a CSV file.

How to export Inbox items from Agorapulse

Inbox items can be exported from Agorapulse by two different methods: through Bulk Actions and through the Profile posts view. The instructions to export are listed per method below.

How to export Inbox items through bulk actions

One or multiple Inbox items can be exported from Agorapulse using bulk actions.

To export Inbox items through bulk actions, please follow these steps after navigating to the Inbox for your selected social profile:

  1. (Optional) Apply a filter to the Inbox view

  2. Select one or multiple Inbox items
    There is a checkbox available when hovering over the top-left of the item

  3. Click the Export items icon from the bulk action options at the top of the list of Inbox items
    The icon is a downward arrow

  4. Select Export selected items
    This will only export the selected Inbox items
    or
    Select Export all items in this view
    This will export all Inbox items for this profile that meet the filtering criteria

  5. Click I understand in the Personal Data Export Responsibility pop-up

The Inbox export will be sent to the email address associated with your user account in CSV format.

How to export comments from the Profile posts view

All comments associated with a specific post can be exported at once, using the Profile posts view. To export all comments related to a specific post, please follow these steps after navigating to the Inbox for your selected social profile:

  1. Click on the Profile posts tab

  2. Select the desired post

  3. Click on the three dots menu above the post preview

  4. Select Export post's comments

  5. Click I understand in the Personal Data Export Responsibility pop-up

All comments associated to this post will be exported and sent to the email address associated with your user account in CSV format.


What data can be exported from the Inbox?

In the table below, we have outlined the data points that will be exported for each Inbox item and a short description of each data point:

Export date

The date and time the export was initiated by the user (CET format)

Filters applied

Displays all filters active during export (e.g. profile name, status, labels, sentiment, etc.)

Post ID

Unique identifier from the social network for the original post

Item URL

Direct link to the item on the native platform (available for comments only)

Item type

Indicates the type of Inbox item

(e.g. direct message, organic comment, mention)

Date

Original publication date/time of the item

(CET format, e.g. 13/01/2025 16:41 CET +0100)

User name

Native platform username

LinkedIn will display the user ID and not all usernames are available for export due to the privacy settings of the user

Content

Text and emoji content of the item

Unsupported elements (images/media/emojis) are marked as 'content unavailable'

Sentiment

Item sentiment classification

Undefined, Neutral, Positive, or Negative

Labels

All labels applied to the item within Agorapulse

Reviewed

Status indicating if the item was marked as reviewed

Yes or No

Status

Indicates who assigned, hid, or reviewed the item

Team member

Name of the Agorapulse user who performed the assignment or moderation action

Replied

Displays replies made via Agorapulse.

Private Messages (DMs) will display the last reply only

Comments and mention comments will show all replies

Mentions (Post) will be empty
