Once an Advocacy campaign has been created, it becomes accessible from the Advocacy dashboard, where you can monitor performance, track participation, send reminders, and manage drafts.

This article explains the following:

For more information on creating an advocacy campaign, take a look at this article.

How to access the Advocacy dashboard

All Advocacy campaigns are accessible from the Advocacy dashboard. To access the Advocacy dashboard click Advocacy or the megaphone icon from the left-hand navigation bar.

Campaigns are grouped into the following tabs:

  • Draft – Campaigns that have been created but not yet launched

  • Active – Campaigns currently running and accessible to advocates

  • Archived – Campaigns that have ended or been manually closed

Each campaign in the list is labeled with its type (Link or Post) for quick identification.

In the Advocacy dashboard, the following insights are available to provide a quick overview:

  • Contacted - Number of emails sent

  • Opened - Open rate of campaign emails

  • Clicks - Percentage of contacted advocates who clicked the campaign CTA (call to action)

  • Shares - Share rate based on advocate interaction

To view the details of a campaign, click the campaign name from the list.

How to view and interpret Advocacy campaign results

Once an Advocacy campaign has been launched, detailed results are available across three tabs: Overview, Performance, and Audience. These tabs provide real-time insights based on campaign type (Link or Post).

Overview

The Overview tab displays campaign configuration and high-level performance indicators.

Metrics include:

  • Audience size – Number of advocates targeted

  • Contacted – Number of invitations sent

  • Opened – Open rate for campaign emails

  • CTR – Percentage of advocates who clicked the CTA

  • Shares – Share rate based on advocate interactions

  • Visits – Total traffic generated through shared links (Link campaigns only)

Additional fields:

  • Shared content – Preview of the promoted link or post

  • UTM details – Tracking parameters applied to shared URLs

  • Suggested copies – All copy variations provided at setup

  • Internal notes - Notes visible only to Owners and Managers

  • Campaign information – Title, description, status, start and end dates

Use the Preview what your advocates can see link to view the campaign landing page as seen by recipients.

Performance

The Performance tab surfaces detailed results across the email funnel and engagement metrics.

Metrics available for Link campaigns:

  • Sent emails – Number of invitations delivered

  • Opened emails – Open rate

  • Clicked in emails – Click-through rate

  • Content shared – Percentage of advocates who shared the link

  • Traffic generated – Number of UTM-tracked visits

  • Sharing network distribution – Shares by social network

  • Visits per social network – Traffic source breakdown

Metrics available for Post campaigns:

  • Sent emails – Number of invitations delivered

  • Opened emails – Open rate

  • Clicked in emails – Click-through rate

  • Actions on post – Total likes, comments, and shares

  • Engagement rate – Percentage of advocates who interacted with the post

All metrics update in real time once the campaign is active.

Audience

The Audience tab shows engagement data at the list and individual advocate level.

For each advocate, you can view:

  • Delivery status – whether the email was sent

  • Engagement status – whether the advocate opened, clicked, shared, or engaged

  • Associated lists – groups the advocate belongs to

You can filter or sort the data to identify top performers or inactive advocates. Use Send reminders to follow up with selected individuals or entire lists.

How to edit an Advocacy campaign

You may only edit Advocacy campaigns that are in Draft status. Once a campaign is active or archived, it can no longer be modified.

To edit a Draft campaign from the Advocacy dashboard:

  1. Click the Draft tab

  2. Select an Advocacy campaign

  3. Make any required edits see How to create an advocacy campaign for more information

  4. Click Save as draft or Start campaign once edits have been made

Campaigns that have ended or been manually archived move to the Archived tab and are accessible in read-only format for reporting purposes.

To manually archive an active campaign from the Advocacy dashboard:

  1. From the Active tab, select the campaign

  2. Click Stop & archive campaign

  3. Confirm in the pop-up

Please Note: Once a campaign is archived, advocate activity will no longer be tracked, and the campaign cannot be reactivated.
