You can make basic adjustments to images and videos directly from the Publishing Composer before publishing or scheduling a post.
For images, you can crop, resize, and adjust their orientation. For videos, you can choose a custom thumbnail from generated frames, a selected video frame, or an uploaded image on supported networks.

How to edit an image when creating a post
This section explains how to crop, resize, rotate, or flip an image before publishing a post in Agorapulse. Use these steps to prepare your image for the dimensions and appearance you need.
To edit an image when creating a post in the Publishing Composer:
Upload the image in the Media panel
Click the three-dot menu (...) on the image thumbnail
Select Edit image to open the edit window
To adjust image dimensions, choose from the following:
Select from preset aspect ratios in the left-hand panel. These are customized per social network; e.g. 1.91:1, 4:5 and 1:1 for Instagram.
To reposition, drag the image within the crop area.
To create a custom crop, drag the cropper tool to your preferred size.
Use additional image editing tools located below the image preview in the edit window:
Flip the image horizontally or vertically
Zoom in or out
Rotate clockwise or counterclockwise
Mirror the image
Click Save to apply changes and replace the original file
How to select a custom thumbnail
A video thumbnail is the image that displays before the video plays. You can select one from generated frames, pick a specific frame from the video, or upload your own image (on supported networks). Thumbnail options may vary depending on the social network. See network-specific rules below.
To create a custom thumbnail when creating a post in the Publishing Composer:
Upload the video in the Media panel
Click the three-dot menu (...) on the video thumbnail
Select Edit video
To select a thumbnail, choose one of the following:
Pre-generated frames: Pick from up to 20 automatically generated frames.
Choose a frame from the video: Scroll to the desired moment and click Choose frame from video.
Upload your own image: Click Upload your own (available on supported networks). Custom thumbnail uploads must be a maximum of 2 MB.
Click Save to apply changes
Please Note: Certain video formats (e.g. .avi and .wmv) cannot generate preview frames in the browser. In these cases, upload your own thumbnail image (except on Instagram).

Note: If you select a thumbnail method supported only on some networks, it will only be applied to those networks. Others will use a default thumbnail.
