How do I use the Inbox Assistant?

The Inbox Assistant cleans up, organizes and manages inbox items for you by reviewing, assigning, bookmarking or labelling them automatically.

The Inbox Assistant will work for both items synced in your Inbox and your Listening section area* of your Agorapulse Organization.

From the Inbox tab, click Settings (or directly Create an Inbox assistant rule)

Choose Inbox Assistant on the left and click Create a new rule.

Identify which words or phrases should trigger this rule. Follow this by defining which actions your Inbox Assistant should take when these words or phrases appear in your inbox:

Please note: Inbox assistant rules can only include alpha-numerical characters (A-Z, a-z and 0-9).

There are certain limitations within the Inbox Assistant. This all depends on which social network you work with inside of Agorapulse and/or what types of actions you have identified to occur.

Please see the table below as a reference guide for which social network has which associated actions:

Common Actions Used:

Items that are automatically Reviewed won't appear in your inbox so you don't have to manage them (spam).

Items that are automatically Assigned will get to the right person immediately (questions for support).

Items that are automatically labelled will create metrics in your reports and segments of content you can filter to (Competitor mentions).

Prioritizing Rules:

If there are multiple Inbox Assistant rules that could potentially match an Inbox item, we only apply the top one (the one higher in the list). To change the priority of rules, use the arrow up / arrow down buttons.
