Head over to Profile settings at the top and choose Listening on the left.
To add a new #hashtag search:
Press the Create search button
Type in the name you want to call the search and also the hashtag you wish to listen for
Click Create this search button
Please note: You can enter one hashtag per search
Limitations:
You can query a maximum of 30 unique hashtags within a rolling 7 day period. All hashtag searches across all third-party apps that you are using count towards this limit.
Instagram won't allow us to search far in the past - search query returns results published within 24 hours of search execution
Searches won't return promoted/boosted/ads media
Searches won't include any personally identifiable information such as name, Instagram handle or profile picture
To remove a search, click on the listening search and then on the Remove button.
Please note: Once you remove a search, you'll need to wait up to 7 days until it won't be counted towards the max limit of 30 hashtags.
To re-activate a search that has been previously removed, simply select the listening search under Other active searches
