How to create a group of hashtags

Save time when creating posts by using hashtag groups!

Hashtag groups in Agorapulse allow users to create and manage reusable sets of hashtags for publishing. Hashtag groups reduce the need for manual entry, help maintain brand consistency and improves efficiency when managing recurring content themes.

How to create a group of hashtags

Hashtag groups can be created in the Publishing Composer during the post creation process. To create a group of hashtags while in the Publishing Composer:

  1. Click on the # icon below the Your post field

  2. Click the + icon in the pop-up

  3. (Required) Enter a Name for the hashtag group

  4. (Required) Enter hashtags to be included in the group
    You may enter multiple hashtags separated by a space

  5. Click Add

The newly created group of hashtags will now be visible in your list of hashtag groups in the pop-up. To add a hashtag group to a post from the Publishing Composer:

  1. Click on the # icon below the Your post field

  2. Select the relevant hashtag group from the list

The selected hashtag group will automatically be added to the Your post field where your text cursor is placed. To complete the post creation and scheduling process, please follow the steps in this article.

Note: Emojis cannot be added to hashtag groups.


How to manage hashtag groups

Hashtag groups may be viewed, edited and deleted directly in the Publishing Composer.

How to edit a hashtag group

To edit a hashtag group in the Publishing Composer:

  1. Click on the # icon below the Your post field

  2. Click the pencil icon next to group you wish to edit

  3. Edit the group as needed

  4. Click Update to save your changes

How to delete a hashtag group

To delete a hashtag group in the Publishing Composer:

  1. Click on the # icon below the Your post field

  2. Click the pencil icon next to the hashtag group you wish to delete

  3. Click the trash icon

  4. Click Yes, Delete to confirm
