Audience targeting allows you to control who can view your posts on Facebook and LinkedIn by applying network-specific criteria. This ensures your content reaches the most relevant audience, as only users who meet the selected criteria will be able to see the published post.
In this article, we will cover:
What audience targeting options are available?
Audience targeting is currently available for Facebook Pages and LinkedIn Company Pages in Agorapulse. Each network offers its own set of criteria to help you tailor your content to the most relevant audience. You can enable or disable individual targeting criteria as needed.
Facebook Targeting Options
When publishing to a Facebook Page, you can target your post based on the following criteria:
Age Minimum
Location - Multiple locations can be added
LinkedIn Targeting Options
For LinkedIn Company Pages, you can apply one or more of the following criteria:
Geographic Area
Language
Job Function
Seniority
Company Size
Industry
You can select multiple options for each of the LinkedIn targeting criteria listed above.
Note: If your LinkedIn Company Page does not have at least 300 followers who meet the selected targeting criteria, an error message will appear when attempting to save your targeting options.
