How to create a Twitter thread

Do you want to publish your content in a Twitter thread? Agorapulse can help with this!

Create the first tweet in the thread as you normally would in the publishing composer. When you want to create the second (and subsequent tweets), enable the Twitter thread toggle in the Twitter options panel.

Note: It is not possible to create Twitter threads via the Agorapulse mobile app.

When you enable this option a new content window will open where you can craft your next tweet. You can add new media files (image, video, etc), as well as emojis, a location, hashtags, or links to the subsequent tweets.

To add more tweets to the thread click the Add new Tweet button at the bottom of the Twitter options panel.

The preview panel on the right-hand side will show you what the Twitter thread will look like once it's published as a whole.

You can add @mentions to any of the Tweets within a thread. This works in the same way as adding mentions to the first Tweet.

Type the '@' symbol followed by the Twitter handle of the profile you want to mention.

Note: You must type in the full username as it is no longer possible to search for users using partial usernames.

Note: The ability to publish Twitter threads is available depending on your subscription plan. If you would like access to this feature, please reach out to us to talk about changing your plan.
