Quality of image or video has decreased when published via Agorapulse - why?
Updated over a week ago

Agorapulse does not edit or change the size, resolution or any quality of the image(s) or video(s) uploaded for publishing by users. We take the file you've uploaded and send it (upload) using the respective API service (Facebook API, Twitter API, LinkedIn API). We don't manipulate the image/video file in any way.

If there is a decrease in the quality of an image/video file, it can be due to the API service during the uploading process (when we send the file to the social network API) - at this step, there can be changes related to the file compression, for example, but we have no power or impact over this.

For example, when a file is uploaded using API service, the color space which will be used is RGB (or sRGB). If your originally uploaded file is in a different color space (CMYK, AdobeRGB, etc.), it might be converted and lose some quality. We recommend using RGB or sRGB color spaces.
