Below we will outline the image upload specifications per social network and post type. If you are publishing images on multiple social networks at the same time, the following aspect ratio is recommended: 1.91:1 (1200 x 628 / 1080 x 566) or 16:9 (1200 x 675) for X.

​Note for YouTube Shorts: If the video is in portrait orientation but the ratio differs from 9:16, YouTube will automatically add black/dark zones on each side (left/right) of the video. This also means that whatever the duration, a landscape format video will never be considered a YouTube Short.

Please Note: Videos with codec HEVC may be published on all social networks but cannot be previewed on Windows operating systems. Previews for HEVC may be viewed on Mac. This will also apply once the video has been published if a user attempts to view it within Agorapulse (in the Social/Shared Calendar).

Media Upload Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Below you will find the answers to common questions in relation to uploading media to Agorapulse.

Why has my media quality decreased after uploading it to Agorapulse?

Agorapulse does not edit or change the size, resolution or any quality of the image(s) or video(s) uploaded. We take the file that has been provided then send it (upload) to the respective API service of the relevant social network (Facebook API, Twitter API, LinkedIn API). We do not manipulate the image/video file in any way.

If there is a decrease in the quality of an image/video file, it can be due to the API upload process. This is not something that Agorapulse has control over (as we are only transmitting the file).
​

For example, when a file is uploaded using API service, the color space which will be used is RGB (or sRGB). If your originally uploaded file is in a different color space (CMYK, AdobeRGB, etc.), it might be converted and lose some quality. We recommend using RGB or sRGB color spaces.
