How to use the Canva Integration?

Learn how to import designs from Canva to Agorapulse

The Canva integration in Agorapulse allows you to import designs that you have created in Canva to Agorapulse to be used in your publishing content.

How to use Canva on Agorapulse

Agorapulse's Canva integration is accessible via the Publishing Composer or the Asset Library. This integration can be used to import designs to your post or to the Asset Library to be used in future posts.

Please note: Only items that appear under Designs in Canva will be visible in Agorapulse

How to import Canva designs from the Publishing Composer

  1. At the bottom left of the page, click on Create post

  2. Then, under Media, select Browse files and select Import from Canva

  3. In the pop-up, sign in to your Canva account

  4. After signing in, click Allow to grant Agorapulse permission to access your Canva account

  5. You will now see a window showing all of your designs created in Canva
    ​Note: Designs that are part of a folder in Canva will be displayed in Agorapulse without the folder

  6. (Optional) At the top of the window, you will see the following options to help sort and filter your designs:

    • The Filter button, where you can choose to filter designs by the Asset owner. These options include:

      • All assets

      • My designs

      • Shared with me

    • A search bar to search by the design's title

    • The option to sort your designs by:

      • Modified date (New to Old and Old to New)

      • Title (Z-A or A-Z)

    • Change how your designs are displayed (List or Grid view)

  7. Click on the design that you would like to import
    ​Note: On the right side of the window, you will see a preview of the selected design and the option to View on Canva

  8. At the bottom of the window, click on the Import as drop-down. This will allow you to select the file type that the design will be imported into Agorapulse as. These options are:

    • Document (PDF)

    • Picture (JPG)

    • Video (MP4)

  9. Click Import to add your design to your post.

How to import Canva designs to your Asset Library

  1. Under Publishing, click on the Library tab

  2. Click the ⌄ next to the Create New button and select Design with Canva

  3. Following the steps above, select the design that you would like to import

  4. Click Import to add your design to your Library.

Please note: Selecting a multi-page Canva asset in Agorapulse will import the design as a carousel/slideshow.

How to disconnect your Canva account

You can disconnect your Canva account from the integration by:

  1. At the bottom left of the page, click on Create post

  2. Then, under Media, select Browse files and select Import from Canva

  3. At the bottom left of the window, click Disconnect.


Limitations

  • Animated graphics (GIFs) can't be imported from Canva, and will need to be imported as a Document (PDF), Image (JPG), or a Video (MP4).

  • If a design is added to Canva while the integration is open in Agorapulse, you will need to close the Canva window in Agorapulse and reopen it for the new design to appear.
