If you want to create a post to save for later and aren’t ready to confirm all the details, you can create a draft post! In this article, we will explain:

How to create a draft post
In order to create a draft post you can:
1. Open the Publishing Composer and toggle the ‘This is a draft’ option. For a more in-depth overview on how to create a post in the Publishing Composer, you can take a look at this article.
2. You can also create a draft post directly from the Draft Library (in Library > Drafts). This is also where you can access any previously created draft posts.
Once you have made any desired changes to your draft post, make sure to save the changes.
You can save a post as a draft at any time in your post creation process: before adding accounts, before adding media, or before adding a scheduling date.
Please Note: Draft posts will never be published, even if a date has been set.
How to view/edit a draft post
If you add a scheduling date, the draft will appear in the Social Calendar and can be filtered. To view or edit your draft, simply click on the post in the calendar!
If no date has been set, you can find your Draft in the Draft library - along with all other draft posts. To view or edit the draft, just click on the title in the Draft Library!
How to delete a draft
You can choose to delete your draft post from the Draft Library or in the Publishing Composer.
To delete a draft in the Draft Library - you can click on the trash icon next to the draft post in question. You can also utilize the bulk actions menu by selecting all relevant draft posts that you want to delete then clicking on the Delete button.
After opening a draft post in the Publishing Composer, you can choose to delete it by clicking on the trash icon on the bottom right of the window.
After choosing to delete the Draft post, you will be asked to confirm your choice. You can do so by pressing Delete.
Note: Once a Draft post is deleted it is not recoverable.
