How to set up timeslots for queues

Customize timeslots to publish content from your queues automatically.

Updated this week

Timeslots control when posts in a queue are published. Instead of manually assigning a publish time to each post, you define repeating slots in advance (for example, Mondays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 2 p.m.). When content is added to a queue, Agorapulse automatically assigns it to the next available timeslot in the sequence.

You must create a queue before you can configure timeslots.

How to create a timeslot for queues

To create a timeslot from the Queues menu:

  1. Click the Timeslots tab

  2. In the left-hand navigation, select the relevant queue or queue group

  3. In the grid view, click the day and time where you want the new timeslot

  4. In the New Timeslot window:

    • Confirm or adjust the queues selected

    • Choose the publishing time

    • Select Repeat if you want the slot to apply across multiple days

  5. Select Create to save

Note: You can create timeslots for multiple queues at the same time by selecting additional queues in the left-hand navigation. Each queue supports a maximum of 1,000 timeslots.

How to edit or delete a timeslot

  1. Click the Timeslots tab

  2. In the left-hand navigation, select the relevant queue or queue group

    • To edit, adjust the time or repeat settings and save

    • To delete, click the trash icon

  4. You can also drag and drop a timeslot to a new day or time in the grid view

Note: It is not possible to duplicate a timeslot from one queue to another.
