There are some cases where you may not want to use the direct publishing option to publish your posts on Instagram or TikTok. This is because the social network has decided not to enable certain features in the API.

The Mobile notification system is available for posts created for Instagram & TikTok and is useful in the following cases:

You can schedule your post on Agorapulse and complete it on your mobile device using our Mobile notification system.

Please make sure that you have installed the Agorapulse mobile app on your iOS or Android device.

In the Instagram options panel, select the type of post you want to publish, for example, Reel or Story. Click to enable the Publish via Mobile notification option and then select the team member who is going to receive the push notification (only users who have already downloaded, installed, and logged in to Agorapulse mobile app are shown).

Once you've made sure that your post is going to be published via push notification, prepare the post as you normally would on Agorapulse.

In the TikTok options panel, click to enable the Push via Mobile notification option. Select the team member who is going to receive the push notification (only users who have already downloaded, installed, and logged in to Agorapulse mobile app are shown).

Once you've made sure that your post is going to be published via push notification, prepare the post as you normally would on Agorapulse.

You will receive the notification on your mobile device at the scheduled publishing time for the post. Click on the notification to be taken to the post in the Agorapulse app.

Remember! When you've successfully published your post, return to the Agorapulse app to confirm.

Please note: You will need to be logged into the Instagram account you wish to publish the post to, on your mobile device.

Tap on the Share on Instagram button.

Then simply tap the type of post you wish to publish, for example a Story or Reel. Add any native Story effects or custom audio for your Reel, you’d like, and publish it.

The post's media will be copied to your phone's photo library or camera roll. If it's a Reel or Feed post, the caption will be copied to your clipboard. Simply select the media from your phone's library to add it to the post. You can paste your caption to be included with your post.

Tap on the Share on TikTok button.
