How can I link Agorapulse data to Looker Studio?

You can establish a connection between your audience, posts, community management data, and Looker Studio through our Looker Studio Connector.

Requirements

  • You need to be able to generate an Agorapulse API key using Agorapulse's Analytics API

  • Access to the Looker Studio account is necessary

What data is available?

Our Looker Studio Connector will provide you with access to all the data from our CSV exports. For each connected social profile (metrics vary from one network to another), this includes:

  • Global page/profile performance data

  • Content performance data

  • Community management data

Supported networks

This feature is supported with the following networks:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • LinkedIn

  • TikTok

  • YouTube

  • Threads

How to connect with Looker Studio

Generate an API key

  1. Click the avatar on the bottom-left of the screen

  2. Select Personal settings

  3. Under Personal, click on the API keys sub-menu to generate an API key

  4. Copy and securely store the API key for use in linking Agorapulse to Looker Studio.

Please note: The permissions for API requests depend on the assigned access levels within Agorapulse. To access data for all connected social profiles, it's best to use the API key of the organization's owner or manager with access to all social profiles.

Link Agorapulse to Looker Studio

  1. Once you have generated your API key, under Organization, select the Integrations sub-menu

  2. Under the Looker Studio integration, click Connect

  3. Log in with the relevant Google account

  4. Click Authorize, and in the pop-up, click Allow

  5. Enter your API key and click Next

  6. From the drop-down, select your organization and click Next

  7. Select your workspace from the drop-down, and click Next
    ​Note: Most users will have access to only one organization and one workspace

  8. Select the social profile that you would like to add, and click Connect at the top right of the screen

  9. You can now use the data to build your custom reporting and dashboard

What if I delete my API key?

If, for any reason, you delete your API key, this will impact your connection with Looker Studio.

Before you can generate a new API key, you will need to revoke access from Agorapulse. To do this, log in to Looker Studio and click to Create a new Data Source. Search for Agorapulse, and then click the 3 dots in the Agorapulse card. Choose revoke access.

Now you can follow the steps above to generate a new API key.


Agorapulse's use and transfer, to any other app, of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
