How can I link Agorapulse data to Looker Studio?

You can establish a connection between your audience, post and community management data and Looker Studio through our Looker Studio Connector.

Note: Looker Studio Connector is available depending on the subscription plan you have. If you would like to change your plan to access this feature, feel free to reach out to us here.

Requirements

  • You need to be able to generate an Agorapulse API key using Agorapulse's Analytics API

  • Access to Looker Studio account is necessary

What data is available

Our Looker Studio Connector will provide you access to all the data from our CSV exports. For each connected social profile (metrics vary from one network to another), this includes:

  • Global page/profile performance data

  • Content performance data

  • Community management data

Supported networks

This feature is supported with the following networks:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • LinkedIn

  • TikTok

  • YouTube

Connection with Looker Studio

Generate an API key

  • From your Agorapulse Personal settings, access the API keys section to generate an API key

  • Copy and securely store the API key for use in linking Agorapulse to Looker Studio.

The permissions for API requests depends on assigned access levels within Agorapulse. To access data for all connected social profiles, it's best to use the API key of the organization's owner or manager with access to all social profiles.

Link Agorapulse to Looker Studio

  • From the organization settings, access the Integrations page and connect to Looker Studio

  • Add your API key


    ​

  • Choose the profile you want to use as a data source in Looker Studio

Note: Before being able to choose the social profile, you'll need to select your organization and workspace. Most of the users will have access to only one organization and one workspace

  • You can now use the data to build your custom reporting and dashboard

What if I delete my API key?

If, for any reason, you delete your API key, this will impact your connection with Looker Studio.

Before you can generate a new API key, you will need to revoke access from Agorapulse. To do this log into Looker Studio, and click to Create a new Data Source. Search for Agorapulse, and in then click the 3 dots in the Agorapulse card. Chose revoke access.

Now you can follow the steps above to generate a new API key.

Agorapulse's use and transfer, to any other app, of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
