Agorapulse can now sync LinkedIn ad comments straight to your Inbox! This means you can easily engage with LinkedIn users who are interacting with paid content. Managing LinkedIn ad comments within the Inbox allows you to level up your customer engagement strategy through the use of features like automated moderation and saved replies. How to add a LinkedIn ad account
In order to sync ad comments, you first need to ensure you have added your LinkedIn ad account.
Please Note: Any native role in LinkedIn higher than 'Viewer' may add an ad account in Agorapulse.
In order to connect your ad account and create an ad token, you need to:
Navigate to your LinkedIn Profile settings
Click on Ad accounts
Select Connect Ad Account
After selecting Connect ad account you will be redirected to LinkedIn to log in. Once you have entered your account details (or if you are already logged in) you will be asked to confirm ad-related permissions:
When this has been done, you will be redirected back to Agorapulse. Now you will see a list of all active LinkedIn ad accounts! You can select all relevant ad accounts that you want to connect, then press Connect ad account.
Within 15 minutes, you should see your LinkedIn ad comments synced in your Inbox! If you are utilizing the new Inbox experience, you are able to filter your LinkedIn Inbox for Ad comments or Ad posts to easily identify them.
If you are not using the new version of the Inbox, you may still identify ad comments through by referencing the ad comment symbol next to the Inbox item.
Please Note: We sync for LinkedIn ad comments every 15 minutes per profile.
What items will be synced?
After connecting your LinkedIn ad account, we can sync up to 32 days of historical ad comments. Moving forward, all comments from sponsored content (both ads and boosted posts) will be synced after the ad account is connected. After being boosted, all subsequent comments on any type of sponsored post will be considered as ad comments. This applies even if a post is no longer sponsored.
We do not support sponsored messaging and text ads for LinkedIn. It is also important to note that only ad comments will be synced at this time, as direct messages (DMs) are not yet available.
Note: If you downgrade your subscription to a tier below Professional, LinkedIn ad comments will no longer be synced. All previously synced comments will remain in the Inbox.
