How to generate an AI Report Digest

Quickly and easily analyze, interpret and action reporting data with AI.

The AI Report Digest, also called Smart Digest, is an AI-powered summary designed to save you time and add context to your reporting. Available in single-profile reports, it transforms raw data into a clear narrative by surfacing the most important results, identifying what caused performance changes, and suggesting actionable next steps.

Please Note: The AI Report Digest is available to users on a Standard, Professional, Advanced or Custom subscription plan.


How to generate an AI Report Digest

After navigating to the Reports feature, you may generate an AI Report Digest by following these steps:

  1. Choose a social profile from the left-hand menu and select a date range

  2. Click the Generate summary icon

  3. The AI Report Digest will appear in a pop-up

Note: To generate a summary for a new period, update the date range and click Generate summary again.

What is included in the AI Report Digest?

The content of the AI Report Digest adapts to the type of report and the selected network. Each Digest is organized under three sections to make results easy to review and share. These sections include:

Key Performance Summary

This section highlights the most important metrics for the selected profile and date range. It includes:

  • A summary of metrics such as Engagement, Impressions, and Audience Growth

  • Comparisons with the previous reporting period

  • Root cause explanations for significant changes (for example, a viral post, changes in posting frequency, or shifts in content format)

  • Indications when data is not available for a metric

Competitive Analysis

This section compares your profile to competitors. It includes:

  • Engagement per post, content volume, and audience size

  • Identification of gaps and opportunities, such as lower posting frequency or weaker engagement compared to competitors

  • Insights only when comparative data is available

Actionable Recommendations

This section provides guidance for improving results. It includes:

  • At least one tactical and one strategic recommendation

  • Concrete steps such as increasing posting frequency, experimenting with new content formats, or replicating high-performing posts

  • Suggestions designed to shape future strategy and improve performance over time

Data Limits for the AI Report Digest

To ensure reliable performance of the AI Report Digest:

  • For reports longer than two months, data is aggregated:

    • Reporting periods of 2–6 months are grouped by 3-day intervals

    • Reporting periods of 6–12 months are grouped by week

  • If a report contains more than 50 posts, only 50 will be analyzed (the 25 most recent and the 25 oldest)

How to export the AI Report Digest

The AI Report Digest may be added to a report export. To add the AI Report Digest to a report export:

  1. Configure the report and click the orange Export icon

  2. Select PDF Global Data (currently the only export option compatible with the AI Report Digest)

  3. Click the Customize export icon and toggle on AI Report Digest

  4. Click Export

  5. You will receive the report by email. The AI Report Digest will appear as the first section.

Please Note: The AI Report Digest will not be included in automatic scheduled report exports.
