When you open a new Archie session, you start a conversation by providing a source (document, video, audio recording, or URL). Archie then analyzes the source and extracts the key themes and ideas it contains. Those ideas become the raw material for your social media posts. and transforms it into platform-ready social media posts for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

Supported content types
Archie supports the following source types:

How to add content to a conversation
After creating your first Playbook, you will be able to begin chatting with Archie. To start a conversation, you can either Add a source or start a workflow (Batch from a source or Extract video clips).
Adding a Source
Adding a source allows you to choose between adding a PDF, video, URL, or audio files as well as pasting text. To add a source you will need to:
Click on Archie in the left navigation menu
Select New conversation
Click on Playbook to open a drop-down and select a created Playbook
Note: If no Playbooks have been created or you wish to create a new Playbook, you can click Create a playbook from the drop-downAfter selecting a Playbook, you will need to select the content source that you would like to add by clicking + Add to select one of the following options:
Add PDF
Add video
Add URL
Note: Documents from Google Drive, Slite, Notion, and Confluence are also supportedPaste text
Note: At least 50 characters need to be addedAdd audio
Once you have selected your source type, you will need to add the source by either:
Uploading a file (video, audio file, or PDF sources)
Pasting a URL (URL source)
Paste a transcript, blog draft, or note (Text source)
After adding your source, Archie will begin to analyze the content
Note: Processing time varies depending on the length and type of sourceOnce processed, Archie will extract the key themes and ideas it detected in the Ideas tab.
Note: When using the Video clip source, video clips that Archie creates will appear in the Sources tab
Starting a workflow
Below the text box, you will be able to select from two workflows:
Batch from a source: Extracts the strongest ideas and drafts a set of posts.
Extract video clips: Finds the best moments in video and clips them into posts
To start a workflow, you will need to:
Click on Archie in the left navigation menu
Select New conversation
Under Jump into a workflow, select one of the following workflows
Batch from a source
OrExtract video clips
Drag & drop a file into the box or click Browse files
Batch from a source supports PDF, video, or audio files up to 2 GB
Note: Batch from a source also supports links and pasted text. To use either of these options, you will want to select either the A link or Paste text buttons below the drag & drop box.Extract video clips supports MP4, MOV, or WebM files
Select a Playbook
Click Extract ideas
Once processed, in the Ideas tab, Archie will extract the following for each workflow type:
Batch from a source: the key themes and ideas it detected in the Ideas tab
Extract video clips: Video clips with a brief summary of what happened or what was said and a timestamp of where this clip was extracted from.
How to manage uploaded sources
After Archie has extracted ideas from your source, if you go back to the Sources tab, you can perform the following actions on your uploaded source:
@Reference: Use this source as a reference when talking with Archie
Note: If more than one source has been added, then multiple sources can be referencedAsk a question: Use this to prompt Archie that you have a question regarding this source
Extract more: This prompts Archie to extract additional themes from your source
Remove: Remove the source
How to manage a conversation
After a conversation has been created, if you hover over the conversation on the left side of the page, you can perform the following actions:
Select the Pin icon to pin or unpin the conversation
Select the Pencil icon to rename the conversation. After renaming the conversation, you will either need to select either the ✓ button to confirm the change or the ✗ button to cancel.
Select the Bin icon to delete the conversation. After selecting the Bin icon, you will either need to select the ✓ button to confirm the deletion of the conversation, or the ✗ button will cancel.
How to work with extracted Ideas
After Archie analyzes your content, a list of ideas appears in the Ideas tab. The Ideas tab acts as Archie's content intake area, based on the source you provided. You can also ask Archie questions about your uploaded content, similar to working with a research assistant. the main topics, angles, and key points it found.
From the Ideas tab, you can:
Search for Ideas in the search bar at the top of the page
Filter by Idea types by clicking on the different idea bubbles (All, Hooks, Stats, Quotes, Stories, or Insights)
Select the ideas you want to turn into social media posts.
Ask Archie questions about the content, for example, "What are the three most actionable insights for a marketing manager?"
Refine the ideas by providing feedback directly in the conversational interface.
You do not have to use every idea. Select the ones most relevant to your current campaign or goal, then move forward to post-generation.

Tips on how to get the best results
Use your richest content: The longer and more detailed the source, the more ideas Archie can extract. A 60-minute webinar will generate more content ideas than a 500-word article.
Match your source to your goal: For thought leadership content, use white papers or expert interviews. For product content, use demo recordings or product documentation.
