If you want to start receiving push notifications from Agorapulse, or if you are wondering why you are not already receiving them, this article will guide you through the steps to check everything is set up correctly.
Download the Mobile App
1. If you haven't already done so, you need to download the Agorapulse Companion mobile app. iPhone users can download this here and Android users can download it from here.
2. Now you have the app downloaded, you will need to sign in to the app using your credentials. We have a separate article here if you are struggling to do this.
3. Once you are signed into the app, you can activate which push notifications you want to receive.
You can also do this on the desktop version. This article here shows you how you can do this.
Note: A notification is sent only to the team member who created a post or who approved the post.
Why am I not receiving push notifications?
If you are still not receiving push notifications, this usually means they have not been enabled within your phone settings. Here is how to check:

Additional Android Troubleshooting
If you're on an Android device, there are certain power saving features that may cause issues with push notifications. Please confirm the settings below:
Go to System Settings > Advanced Settings > Battery Manager > Protected Apps Selection. There you will need to allow the Agorapulse app to run when the screen is off.
Alternatively, you can download and install Quick Sync Settings from the Google Play Store and then go to Settings > Accounts > Google > Enable App-data Sync.
You may also need to check Settings > Notifications > App notifications > Agorapulse and make sure that Block all is not toggled to on.
Additional iOS Troubleshooting
If you're on an iOS device, check your notification center settings. This helps ensure that you've allowed the Agorapulse app to send you Push Notifications. To do so you can check: Settings > Agorapulse > Notifications > Allow notifications.
If you're still facing issues, please uninstall the mobile app, power cycle your phone off and then back on, and reinstall the mobile app. Please make sure to allow push notifications.
