The Agorapulse Inbox helps you to efficiently monitor and manage engagement on any social profiles you've connected to Agorapulse. This article will help details exactly what features you will find within the Inbox and how to utilize them.
What you'll find in your inbox
Within the inbox, you can choose to filter the items you want to view. You can find all the engagement from your fans/followers, as well as view actions that have been taken by team members and handle items that have been assigned to you.
For a detailed explanation of the Inbox filtering options, check out this article.
For more details on actions that can be taken in the Inbox, check out our General Inbox Management article.
The visual below confirms exactly what is visible in the Inbox per social network:
Please note:
(1) Public mentions of your Facebook page, and mentions of your Instagram account will be found in the Listening section
(2) The X (Twitter)-Plus add-on is required to view the Twitter inbox.
What information can I see for a specific user?
The Inbox also shows a User profile for the people who interact with your page/profile.
The User profile is a great way to see an overview of a user's activity on your social media. You can see a minimized view of the profile on the right hand side, when a comment or message is selected.
To see the full view, click on the Open user profile button to view the details of the user.
In the next screen you can see the interactions from the user, you can see if this user is linked in your CRM and you can add notes about the user, or review notes left previously.
When you're done, you can click the Close user profile button to return to the Inbox view.
Note: User Profile access for X (Twitter) requires the X (Twitter)Plus add-on
Adding notes to conversations
Note: It is only possible to add a note to Private/Direct Messages.
Adding notes to a conversation can help provide context about an interaction to any internal employees. To add a note, click on a private/direct message to see its details - then switch to the Note tab down next to the reply field.
The background will turn yellow, indicating you're writing a note and not a reply.
Note: All internal notes will be visible in the conversation thread. They will have a yellow background to differentiate them from actual replies sent to users.
This will only be visible to you and your team - the user you're having a conversation with won't see the note.
Why is the wrong item showing up from what I clicked?
In case you face the issue where you see a different comment or message in the right panel than what you selected in the list on the left, please note it might be due to one of the browser extensions you may have installed.
In the past, we've experienced issues when users have had translation extensions installed, such as the Google Translate Chrome extension, which causes trouble viewing the Inbox correctly.
We recommend not using the Google Translate Chrome extension - instead, you can use the built-in translation feature that Agorapulse offers. Just click the ... menu when viewing a comment and choose See translation.
