Following recent changes to our Twitter integration, we have completed the necessary work to transition to the new Enterprise API on Twitter. As part of this, we have changed how Twitter is available in our tool.
Our revamped Twitter integration now offers 2 possibilities: Twitter Lite and the Twitter Plus add-on.
Twitter Lite
All Twitter profiles connected to Agorapulse will automatically have Twitter Lite applied. This is the default status for connected Twitter profiles.
Twitter Lite includes Publishing only.
There are no limitations on the number of tweets that can be published. However, tweets published natively on Twitter will not be synced to the calendar in Agorapulse.
Social Media Inbox, Reports and Fans & Followers are not supported in Twitter Lite. The Listening feature for Twitter is also not available.
If you have subscribed to email notifications within Agorapulse, these won't include Twitter inbox data to review for Lite profiles.
Twitter Plus
If features such as monitoring your Twitter Inbox on a real-time basis, Reports and managing Fans & Followers is a priority for you, we recommend purchasing the Twitter Plus add-on.
The Twitter Plus add-on applies to 1 Twitter profile and includes;
Publishing (including syncing natively published tweets)
Real-time Mentions & DMs in the Social Media Inbox
Manage Fans & Followers
Reports
Sync will be real-time. This means that there will be no historical data for Twitter profiles available in the Calendar, Inbox and Reports.
The Listening feature for Twitter is not supported.
Owners and Managers have permission to make this purchase. The add-on costs €/$30, with no difference between monthly and yearly billing.
How to purchase the add-on
The Twitter Pus add-on can be purchased in the Subscription settings. Click on your profile picture in the bottom left of the screen, then click Subscription. Both the Organization owner and any team members who are managers can make changes to the add-ons.
Simply select how many profiles you want to purchase on the Twitter Plus add-on.
The price for the add-on will be calculated accordingly (you'll pay the pro-rated amount). When finished, simply click on Update subscription - the changes will have immediate effect.
Managing your Twitter profiles
Once the add-on is purchased, you can select the profiles that are allocated to the Twitter Plus add-on. There are several ways you can do this:
