Agorapulse Reports Explained

Agorapulse offers a comprehensive set of reports to help you measure and optimize your social media performance. With a variety of pre-built and customizable reports, you can easily track audience behavior, content effectiveness, team efficiency, ad performance and competitor benchmarks across your connected social profiles.

Agorapulse Reports are available for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok and YouTube profiles.

Please Note: Reporting for X (Twitter) is only available with the X Plus add-on.


What reports are available in Agorapulse?

Agorapulse provides a range of reports to analyze key metrics across your social profiles. Each report is designed to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making for your social media strategy.

These reports include:

  • Audience Report - Identifies key engagement trends and audience insights for users interacting with your social profiles. This report provides data for all posts on the social profile.

  • Content (Global) Report - Provides insight on what type of content performs well and is most likely to generate user engagement. This report provides data for posts that were published within the specified reporting period.

  • Content (Performance) Report - Provides key metrics for published posts. This report provides content-specific data for posts that were published within the specified reporting period.

  • Community Management Report - Analyzes team member efficiency related to responding to items within the Agorapulse Inbox. This report provides response metrics for team members within the specified reporting period.

  • Competitors Report - Provides a comparative analysis of chosen competitors for posts published within the specified reporting period.

  • Meta Ads Report - Syncs and analyzes organic and paid social media performance for Instagram and Facebook.

  • Custom Reports - Allows for the aggregation of data across multiple social profiles and the customization of included metrics.

Please Note: Access to the Community Management report, Competitors report, Meta Ads report and Custom reports is available depending on the subscription plan you have. If you would like to change your plan to access these reports, feel free to reach out to us here.


What is the Power Reports feature?

In addition to standard reporting features, Agorapulse offers Power Reports. Power Reports provide an additional set of reporting features that are available to users on an Advanced or Custom plan.

How is reporting data synced to Agorapulse?

Agorapulse retrieves reporting data from the relevant API of each social network. Reports are synced on a daily basis and there can be a delay from some networks of up to 2-3 days. Reporting data should be updated by 4pm (UTC) each day.

If your reports are missing data for a period of longer than 3 days, please contact our support team.

Please Note: The Community Management report is updated in real time. However, data is not available for the current day. The report is always for the previous day.


How far back in the past can we sync data?

When you initially connect a profile to Agorapulse, there is a limit to the amount of historical reporting data that can be synced. We have outlined the historical sync limit per network below:

Facebook

  • Audience Report: 60 days

  • Content Reports: 32 days

Instagram

  • Audience Report: 60 days

  • Content Reports: 30 days

  • Stories Reports: No historical data

X (Twitter)

  • We are not able to offer any historical reporting data for X. The sync will start on the date X Plus was added to your profile.

LinkedIn

  • Audience Report: 60 days

  • Content Reports: 30 days

TikTok

  • Audience Report: 59 days

  • Content Reports: 30 days

Youtube

  • Audience Report: 60 days

  • Content Reports: 32 days


What is the data retention period for reports?

In Agorapulse, reporting data will be retained in line with the type of subscription plan you have. The retention period starts from the first date we can retrieve data (i.e. 30 days prior to the date your social profile is connected).

Reports Permissions

Please reference the table below for permissions required to complete actions within the Reports tool. Owners and Managers are automatically given Admin permissions on all profiles.

The following permissions (Admin, Editor, Moderator, Guest) are profile specific. In the table below we indicate whether the permissions mentioned will give access to the specific action.
