Publishing labels can be created to organize and report on published content. Publishing labels are created and applied in the Publishing Composer during the post creation process. Once a publishing label has been created and applied to a post, it can be used as a filter in the Publishing Calendar and a data point/filter within various Agorapulse reports.

How to create a publishing label
Publishing labels are created within the Publishing Composer. When added to a group of posts, publishing labels apply to all posts within a group, across all profiles and dates.
To create or add a publishing label in the Publishing Composer during the post creation process:
Click on the blue cursor icon or the Create a post button in the left-hand navigation menu
Select the Label icon in the top right of the Your post dialogue box
Enter the name of the publishing label in the Type or search label text box
Labels are case sensitive, i.e "label" is not the same as "Label"Click +Create new label __ when complete
Once the publishing label has been created, the Label icon will be highlighted blue. If there is no label applied, the Label icon will remain grey.
A publishing label will be automatically applied to a post it was created with.
How to apply a publishing label to a post
Publishing labels can be applied to posts during the creation process, scheduled posts and published posts. You are able to apply multiple labels to the same post. We have outlined the steps for each below.
How to apply a publishing label to a scheduled or Draft post
To apply a publishing label to previously created posts in Draft or Scheduled status:
Navigate to the Publishing Calendar
Click on the scheduled or draft post you wish to label
You may utilize Status filters in the Publishing Calendar to assistClick on the post to open the Publishing Composer
In the top-right corner, click the Label icon
Click on an existing label or create a new label
You may use the search bar to easily identify labels that have been previously created
Press Save changes on the bottom-right of the screen
Once the publishing label has been applied, the Label icon will be highlighted blue.
How to apply a publishing label to a published post
Navigate to the Publishing Calendar
Click on the published post you wish to label

Click the Label icon next to the Published post header

Access the Publishing Calendar
Click the List view
Scroll to find the post you wish to label
Click the Label icon at the top-right of the post
Click on an existing label or create a new label

How to manage publishing labels
Publishing labels can be viewed, edited, or deleted directly from the Publishing Composer, or by any of the methods outlined above for creating and applying labels. Use the label settings menu to maintain an organized and up-to-date label structure. Deleted labels will be removed from all associated posts and cannot be recovered.
How to view all publishing labels
Click the blue cursor icon or the Create a post button in the left-hand navigation menu to open the Publishing Composer
On the top-right corner of the Your post dialogue box, click the Label icon
Click on the settings cog on the top-right of the pop-up to open the label settings menu
How to edit a publishing label
Follow steps 1-3 to open the label settings menu
Click the pencil icon next to the relevant label
Make any required edits
Press Enter or click the checkmark icon to save
How to delete a publishing label
Follow steps 1-3 to open the label settings menu
Click the pencil icon next to the relevant label
Select the trash icon
Note: While there is no limit to the number of labels you can create, maintaining a large volume may affect system performance.
