Reports Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Find out answers to common questions about Agorapulse Reports.

Updated over a week ago

In this article we will outline the answers to common questions regarding the Reports tool. If your question is not included here, please contact our support team!

Why are the same metrics in the Content (Global) report and the Audience report different?

The Audience report and the Content (Global) report are measuring two different things.

The Audience report measures data related to your audience and their interactions with your profile within the selected reporting period. This references all posts that have been published on your social profile.

The Content (Global) report measures data related to posts that were published within the selected reporting period. Posts that were published outside of the reporting period will not be included in calculations for this report.

What paid data is included in reports?

In order to report on paid data, you must connect all relevant ad accounts.

We have outlined what paid data is available per social network below:

  • Facebook - Paid data is available as a separate metric in the Audience Report and Content (Performance) report.

  • Instagram - Paid data is available as a separate metric in the Audience Report and Content (Performance) report.

  • LinkedIn - Paid data is available in the Audience Growth section of the Audience report. We do not sync paid data for any other LinkedIn reports.

  • TikTok - The TikTok API returns both Paid and Organic data as a total for all metrics.

  • X - The X API returns both Paid and Organic data as a total for all metrics.

The Meta Ads report is available for more in-depth reporting for Facebook and Instagram.

Why is my report missing data or not up-to-date?

Agorapulse retrieves statistics from each social network through their API. Reports are synced on a daily basis and there can be a delay from some networks of up to 2-3 days. Reports are not synced in real time.

If your reports are missing data for a period of longer than 3 days, please contact our support team.

It is also important to note, we can only retrieve data from each social network through the API if you have a valid token. If there have been any periods of time in which your token was disconnected, you will likely have gaps in reporting data (specifically when referencing daily follower/fan count).

Note: If a YouTube token is invalid for more than 7 days, ALL data attached to this YouTube account will be deleted from Agorapulse. This includes data across all tools/features (including historical data). More information is available here.

Is YouTube short data included in reports for YouTube?

Yes. Data for YouTube shorts is available in both the Audience and Content reports.

Are Instagram Stories included in reports for Instagram?

Instagram Stories are not included in metrics within the Audience report. Data from Instagram Stories is available in the Content (Global) and Content (Performance) reports.

There is a separate tab within reports specifically for Instagram Stories (see below).

Note: Previews for Instagram Stories are only available within 24 hours of the story being published. After this time, previews will not be available and we will state: The picture linked to this post could not be loaded.

Can I export my publishing content in Reports?

It is possible to export a list of all posts published within a specific time period through the Content (Performance) CSV. This will include relevant metrics dependent on the social network.

The Content (Performance) CSV will not include previews of the published posts. It is not possible to export scheduled or queued posts.
