How to add content to a queue

Learn how to create posts and add post to a queue.

Updated this week

After creating a queue and customizing its timeslots, you can begin adding content. Queued posts are created in the Publishing Composer. There are two ways to access the Publishing Composer to create a post for a queue:

  • From the Queues menu, after selecting + Add a queued post

  • From the Publishing Composer directly, by selecting the Queues tab in the left panel and choosing a queue

You can also bulk upload queued posts via CSV file.

How to create a post for a queue

To create and add a post to a queue:

  1. Open the Publishing Composer by either:

    • Selecting a queue in the Queues menu and clicking + Add a queued post, or

    • Opening the Publishing Composer directly

  2. In the left-hand panel, ensure the Queues tab is selected

If you remain in the Profiles tab, the post will be scheduled or published immediately, not queued

  3. Select one or more queues in the left-hand panel

    • You cannot select two queues tied to the same profile

    • Each queue supports a maximum of 1,000 posts

  4. Enter your post content (text, media, links)

  5. Open Queue options to configure:

    • Recurrence: Choose the number of times to requeue the post

      • “Requeue 1 time” means the post publishes once. To publish twice, set 2 recurrences.

      • Unlimited times: Toggle to requeue continuously, up to 2 years

      • Stop publishing after…: Select a specific end date if Unlimited times has been selected

    • Position

      • Top: The post will publish next

      • Bottom: The post is placed at the end of the queue

  6. Select Add to Queue to save

Please Note: Recurrence is not supported on X (Twitter).

How to bulk import queued posts via CSV

The bulk import option allows you to upload multiple queued posts at once using a CSV file. The Bulk import queued posts option is available after selecting a queue in the Queues menu or from the Drafts bulk import feature.

To bulk import queued posts from the Queues menu:

  1. Select a queue from the left-hand panel

  2. Click Bulk import queued posts

  3. Select one or more queues

You cannot import into multiple queues tied to the same profile

  4. Upload your CSV file (maximum 200 rows per file).

    • Each row represents one queued post. The following fields are supported:

      • post_content – Content of the post (optional)

      • post_link – Link attached to the post (optional)

      • video_url – Public video URL (optional)

      • image_url – Public image URL (optional)

      • post_label – Label(s) applied to the post (optional)

  5. Review the import

    • Errors will appear in red and must be corrected before continuing

    • Edit the CSV in Excel or Google Sheets, save as CSV, and re-import

  6. Choose how to finalize:

    • Edit posts before queuing them

    • Leave posts unedited (they will be saved as Drafts in the selected queues)
