Agorapulse Notifications Explained

Find out what notifications you can enable in Agorapulse!

Notifications can be configured within the Personal Settings in order to help you keep up-to-date with everything Agorapulse! The following types of notifications can be configured in Agorapulse:

  • In-app Desktop Notifications

  • Mobile Push Notifications

  • Email Notifications

  • Slack Notifications (Custom plan only)

  • Microsoft Teams (Custom plan only)

How to configure Agorapulse notifications

Notifications can be configured in the Agorapulse desktop and mobile application. Below we will outline how to access the notification settings:

How to configure notifications on Agorapulse desktop

  1. Click on your avatar on the bottom left of the screen

  2. Click on Personal settings

  3. Select the Notifications sub-menu

  4. Edit the notifications

  5. Press Save when complete

Once in the Notifications settings, there are three types of notifications:

  • In-app (Not customizable)

  • Email

  • Mobile

  • Slack (If integrated)

When possible, you can check the box under the relevant heading to configure specific notifications. All available notifications can be found below. Some notifications can be configured by social profile. To configure notifications by social profile:

  1. Click Set by social profile

  2. (De)Select notifications by social profile

  3. Press Save when complete


How to configure notifications in the Agorapulse mobile app

  1. Open the Agorapulse mobile application

  2. Click the settings cog

  3. Select the Notifications sub-menu

  4. Toggle notifications on and off

Please Note: Push notifications must be enabled in order to receive mobile notifications. For more information on troubleshooting mobile notifications, please take a look at this article.


What Agorapulse notifications are available?

Agorapulse offers different notifications for the various features. These are outlined below:

Token health digest (email)

Summary of expired or expiring tokens daily or weekly (every Monday).

Token health digest (in-app)

Pop-up with expired/expiring tokens at login.

Token real-time alert

7, 3, 1 days before and on expiry day. Can be set per social profile.

In-app, Email, Mobile

Please Note: Token health digest emails are sent by default to Owners/Managers and to Members (for the profiles they have access to). Guest users are not able to receive these notifications.

Inbox Notifications

Inbox notifications can be configured by social profile. The table below outlines what notifications are available:

Another user assigns you an Inbox item. Can be set per social profile.

Inbox Assistant rule

Automated Moderation assigns you an Inbox item. Can be set per social profile.

Publishing notifications can be configured by social profile. The table below outlines what notifications are available:

Please Note: Users only see and receive notifications based on their role and access. For example:

  • Moderators: Can configure Inbox notifications but not Publishing.

  • Guests: Cannot receive token health digests.
