In this article, we will be referring to updates regarding Legacy subscription plans. A Legacy subscription refers to pricing/subscription models that are no longer offered by Agorapulse. Users on a Legacy subscription plan do not have access to new features in Agorapulse, as these features are reserved for clients on our up-to-date PPU subscription plans.
We are phasing out Legacy plans in an attempt to streamline ongoing support, unify feature availability across all plans and ensure clients have access to new features and continuous enhancements. Legacy plan users will be transitioned progressively to PPU plans and we will provide emailed updates regarding the transition throughout 2025.
Each of the new PPU subscription plans will automatically include 1 user and 10 social profiles. The features included in the PPU subscription plan will depend on the chosen plan (Standard, Professional, Advanced or Custom).
If you subscribed to one of our Legacy plans, you have probably received an email from us - outlining how your subscription will be affected. This article has been created to answer common questions and provide context for the Legacy plan transition.
If you are on a Legacy plan and you have not received an email from us, please feel free to contact us.
Legacy Plan Transition FAQs
Below we will outline the answers to common questions regarding the Legacy subscription plan transition.
How do I know if I am subscribed to a Legacy plan?
You are able to confirm what plan you are subscribed to in the Subscription settings. If your subscription plan has the term (legacy) next to it, you are subscribed to a Legacy plan.
Please Note: Only Owners (and Managers with access to the Subscription settings) may access the Subscription settings.
All Legacy plans have not been offered since we changed our plan structure in December 2022.
What new features will be available after the transition?
We will help you to identify the plan that best suits your needs! Clients transferring from a Legacy plan to a PPU plan will be able to benefit from:
Access to new social networks: Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky (coming soon)
Some of the users in my organization are inactive, do I need to keep their logins?
No. You do not need to maintain logins for all current users. You may choose to keep any number of users on your subscription. Keep in mind, our new plans are PPU (price-per-user). You may add or remove team members at will by following the instructions in this article.
Can I share a login with other members of my team?
No. Login (seat) sharing is against our Terms of Service. You can read more information here. We have outlined the main reasons why sharing login details is not supported:
Data Security: Unauthorized access may compromise sensitive information
Account Takeover: Unauthorized users can damage your brand's reputation
Data Loss: Shared accounts are more susceptible to data loss
Access Control Issues: Managing who can access what becomes complex
Audit Trails and Accountability: Difficult to track user actions
Security Breaches: Increased vulnerability to breaches
Compliance and Legal Risks: Non-compliance may lead to legal consequences
Loss of Control: Managing the account effectively becomes challenging
Limited Support: Personalized support is hindered
Can I keep my Legacy plan?
Moving forward, it will not be possible to maintain a Legacy subscription plan. We want this transition to be as seamless as possible for all clients, so we encourage you to reach out to discuss your options in detail.
As your new subscription will be based upon the number of users in your organization and the number of connected social profiles, assessing these needs will be pivotal in choosing the best plan for you. You can confirm the different plans we offer along with the different features included here.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly billing?
Yes. If you are currently on a Legacy plan that pays monthly, you are able to transition to yearly billing with one of our up-to-date PPU plans. The recommendation we have/will provide via email are purely suggestions and can be customized to the need of your organization. Pricing can be locked for 12 months when paying yearly.
What's the best way to make a decision between your plans?
To compare the different features available on each of our PPU plans, you can visit your subscription page and click the "Edit" button. You may then choose between the Standard, Professional, Advanced and Custom plans to see the features available per plan.
More information on editing a subscription can be found here.
I did not receive an email about the transition and I want to discuss my options. What can I do?
Please feel free to contact us via the live chat (while logged into Agorapulse) and by email. We would love to discuss the best subscriptions option with you!
Why do I not see an option to edit my subscription? I only see the Contact us option.
If your subscription is not editable in the Subscription settings, your plan is not considered self service. You may reach out to us directly for any subscription change enquiries. You can also reference the inclusions of each plan here.
Are you still going to offer discount for non profit (NFP) organization?
Yes. We offer discounts for NFP organizations. Please feel free to contact us for further information on applying this discount.
I can see I am on Custom plan (legacy) in the Subscription settings. There is no option to edit my plan, what should I do?
Custom (legacy) plans are not the same as our current Custom plans. To edit this type of subscription, please contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager or contact cs@agorapulse.com so we can work on a tailored offer for you.
